Greetings to the École Notre Dame High School Wildcats Community! As Principal at École Notre Dame High School, I am honoured and privileged to work alongside the staff, students, and families. École Notre Dame High School has built its success by working cooperatively with parents and the community to provide a meaningful educational experience for each of its students. It is through these relationships that the staff at École Notre Dame High School are able to help our students successfully navigate high school.
École Notre Dame High School is a proud community of learners who embrace challenges and celebrate successes in academics, athletics, fine arts, faith and service. ‘WILDCATS’ represents the pride, tradition, and excellence that is exhibited in our halls on a daily basis. We provide a safe and inclusive faith-based environment that focuses on engaged teaching and learning. École Notre Dame High School believes that all students can thrive and be successful in an environment that is kind, respectful, and safe. Our key strategies to achieve these successes are held within the terms of Relationships, Scholarships, Mentorship, Leadership, and Partnerships. A tradition that represents our reflective practice is "If better is possible; then good is not enough" as a means to foster growth and success for all.
The Wildcats Community is built upon five key pillars: Academics, Athletics, Fine Arts, Faith and Service. Academic programming is built around the achievement of excellence for all learners while recognizing individual aspirations and abilities. The athletics experience opens the doors for all learners to exemplify the internalization of dedication, loyalty, and citizenship at all times. The fine arts allow learners to explore and appreciate the world around them by encouraging creativity to showcase versatility and adaptability to develop one's own strength and style. The faith and service experience is permeated in all that we do, and it exemplifies the endless opportunities provided for learners to take the lead. Our learners are challenged to be leaders through service around their school and in the global community.
I want all community members to know that I have an open-door policy, and that our focus is on communication that supports next steps. It is our mandate to ensure success for all learners. Through dedicated intervention programming and succession-focused work, we feel that we are supporting students to take on the challenges of their next steps. My goals are to provide leadership that will continue to ensure a collaborative school environment, and differentiated instruction that meets the needs of each student. Educational programs must be meaningful for the students and École Notre Dame High School takes pride in how we support students by linking the curriculum to previous knowledge and future experiences.
