Students spent the day exploring the school, meeting teachers, connecting with future classmates, and getting a feel for life at École Notre Dame High School. Experiences like these help make the transition to high school a positive one, turning unfamiliar hallways into familiar spaces and new faces into future friends.
By the time August 31 arrives, many students will already feel a sense of comfort and belonging, making that first day through the front doors an exciting experience!
The day concluded with a performance by the NDHS Band, giving students a glimpse into the many opportunities that await them next year.
We look forward to welcoming these future Wildcats this fall!

As our teacher and example, Jesus showed us that peace is built through love, understanding, forgiveness, and respect for one another.
This month, we reflect on how we can be peacemakers in our schools, homes, and communities.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." — Matthew 5:9

One of École Notre Dame High School's most cherished traditions continued today as the Class of 2026 gathered for their annual graduation pep rally and grad walk through the community.
The day began with a pep rally, where graduates received plant clippings from the school's living wall, presented by Superintendent Sheldon Germain. The plant clippings serve as a meaningful symbol of growth as graduates prepare to begin the next chapter of their journey. Graduates then took part in the traditional Grad Walk, visiting École Notre Dame Elementary School, the Bonnyville Lodge, and École Dr. Bernard Brosseau School, where they were greeted with cheers, high-fives, handmade posters, and well wishes from students, staff, residents, and community members.
