Today, in all of our schools across Lakeland Catholic, students and staff gathered to mark the beginning of Lent.
From quiet classroom reflections to parish celebrations, ashes were received in the sign of the cross — a simple and powerful reminder of who we are and the journey we begin together.
Here at École Notre Dame High School, the entire school community came together at St. Louis Parish for Mass celebrated by Fr. René. It was a meaningful way to start the Lenten journey inviting Christ to fill every corner of our hearts, together.

“As a salon owner, I’m incredibly proud to have Hayden as a RAP student. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring many young stylists, and it’s rewarding to support students as they grow into confident professionals,” shares owner Tammy Hebert.
Through RAP, students like Hayden gain hands-on experience, earn while they learn, and develop real-world industry skills. Hayden brings enthusiasm, initiative, and a strong work ethic to every part of the salon, while continuing to build her cosmetology skills at École Notre Dame High School with Ms. Gaugler.
